Elegant Touch False Nails Review

Now lets just start by saying yes I know I was last to get on the bandwagon but shh. FYI I'm not a trendy person.

Without further ado, let me show you, the Elegant Touch false nails. For those who don't have long nails or go to salons and get them done. Honestly I can't stress how good they are.
So I think they are about £6 - £8, PERFECT for a night out or a glam day. I bought my first set for a party, I didn't expect them to look nice or anything. Lets just say now I wear them nearly all the time! Obviously not all the time because the glue would ruin your nails.

It's safe to say I wear them until they are no longer wearable. I wore a set for about 2 weeks in total until they were bending and looked horrible. They lasted around a week before I had to re-glue - I must add this was with a full nail of glue so they were pretty well stuck on. Obviously it completely depends on your lifestyle and how heavy handed you are. I did house chores, cleaned out my guinea pigs and everyday life. I was a little cautious when doing some things but nothing major, you can usually feel when you're putting pressure on them. That's usually when they snap off, which my little sister couldn't understand!

I think the length of them are perfect, obviously you can file them down and I believe you can get different length ones. I just get the standard rounded ones because they look most natural. I'm quite lucky that my nails are quite long anyway but this was a great way to get your nails to grow evenly.

Now I know what you're thinking, "false nails look so obvious!" Wrong! These are made so the cuticle end is so thin that it blends with your real nail. Honestly, the amount of people who have asked me where I get my nails done is astonishing! So many people mention them because they look so real, and good if I say so myself!

Anyway, I think that's enough of me babbling. Here's some pictures of what they looked like on me (and my little sister).

(Ignore the orange! It's the filter I promise...)

Have you tried them? I'd love to know what you thought of them.

  1. These look amazing! I tried some Elegant Touch Press Ons recently too but they were much longer - I didn't know they did shorter styles! SO much better than paying £30 a pop at a salon!

  7. Surprised that they actually do look so natural! I always get my nails done at a salon. I can never grow my own nails and at least when I get them done at the shop I know they're gunna last at least 4 weeks before infills are needed. But they don't look as natural as these ones do. Even though you say they lasted while you did general house work etc, I'd be certain I'd find a way to loose them somehow haha!!

  8. These look so fab!! I don't like wearing false nails that are really long or noticeably fake - and the shape and length of these look perfect :} I'll have to check them out - the convenience of not having to re-paint your nails all the time is definitely worth it
