Top 2014 moments

I'm literally so rubbish at the moment. I've been so concentrated on working I forgot to start blogging again, anyway I'm back. Let's look back to my top moments of 2014. 2014 was a strange year for me, I learnt a hell of a lot, however the majority of my favourite parts were in the send half of the year.

The first being Laneways.

I never actually got many photos of the place but it was the Australian themed cafe/bar I worked at for 4 months. The lady that owned it was amazing, I really didn't want her to go back to Australia. I learnt so much about myself there and she really helped me realise that I am better than I thought. I can't wait to go and see her out in aus.

The next is passing my driving test 

This was great to finally get round to driving.i just love how my instructor even thought I was going to fail! And of course getting my car come under this too, I love how I can do what I like now. 

My current job! 

I am so so lucky to have gotten this job and everyday I am thankful. The whole team is great and the job itself is perfect, I've only been there a few months but I am just so thankful I've been given the opportunity. 

Bestival 

I love this photo Shannon! Makes me laugh every time. For me the Bestival was such a turning point for me because I spent a lot of it on my own!! But I still had the best time! Thanks to everyone I shared it with, you know who you are. 

Riding solo 

This is all I need. Myself. Sounds stupid? Yeah probably, think what you want. But 2014 taught me I need to do more for myself, look after myself more and never rely on anyone other than myself. I've become so strong and nobody will ever walk over me! 

That probably sounded really big headed haha. 

What are the main things that happened to you in 2014?? 

I hope 2015 is perfect and everything you want it to be!

So it's freezing and wintery so I found these cool tags to do, I couldn't decide on one so I'm merging them together. They're all on Google so I hope you all tag yourselves to do one! 

1. Whats your favourite holiday movie? 

Home alone! 

2. Favourite winter nail polish? 

Any kind of dark purple or navy. 

3. Hot Chocolate or Apple Cider? 

Hot chocolate definitely!! 

4. Does it snow where you live? 

Haha! The island shuts down if we get a cm of snow!! But no not really. 

5. Have you ever made a snowman? 

I did actually get the opportunity to make a snow man when it snowed in April last year (or the year before I can't remember) 

6. Have you ever gone ice skating? Are you any good or do you fail miserably? 

I actually have my own skates haha I'll let others judge me. 

7. What's your favourite winter treat? 

Chocolate Gâteau!! 

8. Favourite Starbucks holiday drink? 

I'd rather go to a real coffee shop. 

9. Scarves or hats?

Scarves. 

10. Will you be rocking an ugly Christmas jumper this year? 

I don't own one! If I did I definitely would. 

11. Have you ever had a white Christmas? 

Nope, I wish!! 

12. What shoes do you wear most in winter? 

I'd like to say ankle boots but realistically it's probably wellies because I spend most of my time at the yard. 

13. Do you like the cold? 

I don't mind it that much really. 

14. Favourite item of winter clothing? 

Probably my coats, I love them. 

15. Most wanted item for winter? 

A nice pair of wellies, I always manage to break mine! 

16. Are you a fan of UGG boots? 

God no! 

17. Do you like or dislike that it's starting to get dark earlier? 

I actually like it, not sure why! 

18. Christmas at home or away? 

I'd prefer to be away, I'm not a huge fan of Christmas.

ISLE OF WIGHT FESTIVAL 2014 | Friday

Firstly I'd like to apologise for not doing a my week in pictures post this weekend, if you didn't know I was away at the Isle of Wight Festival, which means phone battery is very limited. I was going to do one post on the whole of my weekend, but when I started deciding what photos to upload I realised I had way to many to put into one post, so I've decided to split it into days - if anyone is interested haha! 

Please check out some of the acts I saw because they are amazing and even better live (most anyway). I've got more videos than photos which is really annoying! But if anyone wants to see them, let me know and I may upload them to YouTube.

Right, Lets start with Friday!

If you follow me on Instagram you will know that I am obsessed with Strawberries and Cream, so I was delighted when I saw people with trays selling them. And yes it was the first thing I did when I got there!

Then the acts I saw were:

Lawson - I've never been a massive fan but when I saw their beautiful faces on the screen and I was drawn to watch, haha. 

Tom Odell - My love, so glad I got to see him again! 

Rudimental - Rubbish photo but it was crazy! Second time I've seen them live and they were incredible. 

Then I watched Calvin Harris, but I didn't get a photo because I'm useless. 

That's it for day 1, I didn't get many photos of myself because I had a few sherbets and most photos turned out horrible! Hahaha. 

Day 2 will be up in a couple days.
